I have been invited as a panelist at the Panel on Web Engineering and Web 2.0, held at IBM TJ Watson research center, NY, USA, in July 2008, within the ICWE conference.

I'm a Professor at Politecnico di Milano, Italy. I work on data science, big data, software engineering, software modelling, and model-driven development. I co-authored the IFML standard at OMG and a few books, including "model-driven software engineering in practice". I research on Web technologies and smart cities, spanning topics such as crowdsourcing, Web engineering, social content analysis.

Buonasera professore, spero possa rispondermi anche se la domanda non e’ in “tema”.Saprebbe indicarmi un manuale per la programmazione C++ realmente completo ed aggiornato e che possibilmente tratti da vicino anche aspetti legati alla gestione della memoria e alle problematiche ad essa connesse ?Lo Stourtroup resta “il” riferimento oppure vi e’ altro di altrettanto completo e “chiaro” ?Grazie.Cordiali saluti, Stefano.
