Just a quick update on my recent work.
I recently worked on:

  • Business process and workflow on the Web
  • Web service modeling
  • Integration of Web services and Web applications

I’m now working on:

  • Semantic Web applications and Semantic Web service modeling
  • Constraint design and tuning for web applications
  • Transformations between Web application models
  • Implementation of workflow constraints as standard application model constraints

I'm a Professor at Politecnico di Milano, Italy. I'm also with WebRatio and Fluxedo. I work on data science, big data analytics, software engineering, software modelling, and model-driven development. I co-authored the IFML standard at OMG. I research on Web technologies and smart cities, spanning topics such as crowdsourcing, Web engineering, social content analysis.
